This one time victorian farmhouse was built in 1912. It has been lovingly restored and is fully furnished. Linens are provided(including beach towels) and the kitchen is completley equipped for the serious cook. A small Weber grill is available for outdoor cooking. A washer/dryer is located in the basement. There is a stereo with CD player and a TV/VCR/DVD. TV reception is limited but there is an extensive library of movies for all ages. Our home is on one and one-half acres of land with stairs to a private tidal beach. There are three kayaks for your use, two tandem and one single. A creek runs runs through the back corner of the property and borders one side of the lot. Part of the grounds are left uncut and there are wonderful seasonal displays of wildflowers. A hammock is strun between two trees with nice water views. There are many old plantings in the gardens including lilacs, poppies, honeysuckle, antique roses, rugosa roses and an assortment of herbs and perennials. There are many wonderful walks in the area and Acadia National Park is not far away.
